Job Description

Telecom (OSS/BSS) Business Analyst

- Thorough understanding of Telecom business processes and latest industry trends.

- Extensive experience in dealing with highly technical issues and demonstrated ability to draft effective solutions to business problems / opportunities.

- Good understanding of the Technology platform and ability to visualize the solution to address the business needs appropriately.

- Should have excellent analytical, documentation and presentation skill.

- Manage presentations and demonstrations of system/ solution to the customer.

- Interacting with various business stakeholders, conducting meetings and presentations to discuss/capture requirements, ideas and findings and documenting and communicating the outcomes

- Perform E2E Requirements analysis and documentation management.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Independent working skills.

- Able to take up increasing levels of responsibility

- Work on aggressive timelines

- Willing for international travel on a long / short term basis.

- Should have worked on similar area for a Telecom Billing / CRM System previously for most part of the experience shown

Required Skill Set:

Working experience on the following:

- Define End-to-End Business and functional solutions to support Telecom products and services

- Clear understanding and communication of requirements.

- Development of requirements, functional and specification documents.

- Convert business needs to clear technical specification & define clear scope of deliverables from different entities to meet the business requirement.

- Gather requirements & available solutions from several peripheral teams.

- Knowledge on business process modeling (methods, notations), UML, BPMN 2.0. Tools like MS Visio, Camunda BPMN etc.

- Aligned to eTOM and Industry best practices of process design and standard.

- Think out of the box and come with creative solutions maximizing the available resources and minimizing impact on the environment.

- Influence decisions and requirements from all involved entities to meet the business requirement in most optimal and flexible manner.

- Participate in Estimation and Solution Design activities

- Effective Control of the project by performing the following activities

- Risks highlighted and mitigated at appropriate time

- Stake holders informed on progress of the project

- Escalate slippage/ issue at the appropriate time

- Get client in line with the scope and deviation if any

- Identify documents for sign offs and Identify persons from client side who are authorized to sign off

- Work in an international environment with stake holders from multiple ethnicities.

- Knowledge on business process modeling (methods, notations), UML, BPMN 2.0). Tools like MS Visio, Camunda BPMN etc.

- Aligned to eTOM and Industry best practices of process design and standard.

- Should be in a capacity to manage a team of resources working on similar functions

- Interact with various Units with respect to the Requirements of Projects and Change Requests

- Manage the complete life cycle from a Requirement analysis perspective

- Adhere to Quality Life Cycle

- Provide training/assistance/guidance to Peers/Team Members

- Get Jobs done cordially and tactfully

- Attitude and behavior - proactive, cordial, self-motivated and willing to go that extra mile

Experience Level / Years of Experience :

Candidate should have 3-5 years of working experience on mentioned technologies and skills.

Minimum Qualification / Education

BE/ B.Tech /MCA/MBA/Diploma kind of profile with certification program from any of the major training institute like NIIT, APTECH etc. or any other Govt. Recognized institutes globally
