Director Sales and Business Development - EdTech (in Potential AR/VR Unicorn)
- TechXR Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is an avant-garde Ed-Tech startup which got incorporated in January 2021 by IIT & IIM Alumni. It has a team of Passionate and Resourceful Folks. Within 6 months of its inception, startup was awarded 2nd Edtech in All India Startup challenge, top 100 product in 5G Hackathon by the Department of Telecommunications, selection by IIMK for funding.
- They have developed an affordable AR-VR device which makes quality AR-VR learning and experience accessible to the masses. The innovation has been granted patent and selected as top 30 innovations by Govt of India. Nowadays quality XR learning and experience enabling devices such as Oculus, HTC Vive etc are not affordable to the common man.
- TechXR Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is on a mission to take AR-VR to the masses and to create the world's largest AR-VR Developer base in India.
Role Overview :
Director - Sales and Business Development :
- TechXR is looking for a passionate Sales and Marketing Director to join a well-funded early stage Education Tech start-up backed by Angels including Unicorn and an award-winning Startup.
- This is a challenging role where it requires setting up different level sales and marketing (including regional sales and marketing teams) from scratch, building the organization, setting up the process and bringing the results in a time bound manner.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Setting up Region wise / B2B/B2C sales and Marketing Teams for Lead generations and Conversion
2. Taking the revenue to INR 2Cr / Monthly in 6 months
3. leader who has full ownership of the P&L , come up with strategic ways to increase the revenue.
4. Lead the Sales and Marketing team
5. Manage teams and ensure they work efficiently.
6. Framing up and implementing strategy in time bound manner to tie-up with Educational Institutes (Higher Education ) /corporates
7. Setting up training process for the marketing and sales team/ refining sales pitch
8. Framing up implementing strategy to enter into International Market within 6 months
Requirements :
1. Minimum experience of 4 yrs in category and business management. Experience in Edtech is big plus
2. Bachelor's degree & MBA from a premium school
3. People with experience of setting up teams from scratch will be preferred
4. Proven ability to meet targets.
5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with attention to details
Skills :
1. Ability to think big (10x) while also defining and driving specific actions on an aggressive timeline.
2. Exceptional business acumen, business development and sales experience, and cross-functional understanding.
3. Lead when needed and do when needed; high bias for action.
4. Extremely creative/hacker mindset
5. Strong communication and decision-making.
