- The role is focused on maintaining existing client relationships and growing our footprint and new revenue streams as a strategic services partner. This role will work closely with the Client, and Delivery organizations. This person will work both independently and as an integral part of a multicultural team to generate and nurture account relationships. Success in this role will create opportunities for advancement within Business Development & Account Management.
- Account Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts in Mumbai region. (Banking Domain).
- Generating business from new accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships in existing accounts. In addition, also enhancing business & mining existing accounts to penetrate multiple service lines.
- Build relationship with decision makers to open new opportunities in the existing account.
- Adhere to defined sales processes and maintain/grow the funnel as per organizational growth plans.
- Maintain strong relationship with the customer.
- Escalate customer issues, process anomalies and pain points in a timely manner to seniors.
- Report sales data, competition information and market data as per requirements.
- Good understanding of the entire IT services value chain is required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Strong networking, verbal & written communication skills.
- At least 9 years overall business development experience in an IT services company.
- Excellent professional presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to travel occasionally.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Experience in business development activities such as market research, lead management, or presales support; experience researching customers and developing discussion points
