This is a key part of the segment head's core team and is primarily responsible for ensuring strong alignment between the Segment's business plan and the technology /engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and execute upon the roadmap for mobile product experience of the specific segment. Manage continuous prioritization and adapt to changing business and customer needs. Advocate for what should be the priority and align all Technology stakeholders to ensure technology sprints / plans reflect the business priorities.
- Collaboratively identify, quantify, and prioritize opportunities to improve product experience.
- Write clear and effective user stories and hypothesis to drive feature development.
- Coordinate UX design and content development for a product feature. Certify the UX design produced by the Technology team.
- Collaborate with technology teams and conduct Multivariate tests in our production environment to provide deep drive reports / analytics.
- Analyze & report on test performance and provide insights based on that performance for future hypothesis and tests.
- Manage the on-going relationship between the Segment and Platform Engineering teams; be the single point of contact for the Segment Head for any technology build, capability initiatives
Education:
- Must: BE / B. Tech (Computer Sciences) from 2010-2012 batches from premier institutes.
- Nice to have: MBA/PG in Systems and Marketing / Finance from reputed Management institutes.
Experience: 5 - 8 years of Post Engineering qualification
Ideal Candidate Profile: 2-3 years of Technology development experience after BE / B. Tech, followed by an MBA degree. Post MBA, preferably working as a Product Manager in an Internet company
