Technology Manager - Web & Mobile

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Professional for Technology Manager role with our client at Bangalore.

Position : Technology Manager

Location : Bangalore

Experience: 12 To 18 years

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Total experience not less than 12 years in the industry.

- More than 5 years of leadership experience in architecture and technology.

- 5-8 years of experience with enterprise web and mobile application development across multiple domains.

Technical Skills

1. Solid experience in architecting multiple enterprise level applications on both web and mobile platforms.

2. Excellent knowledge and understanding of current web and mobile technologies and trends.

3. Strong knowledge and experience on different architectural principles, components, integration strategies.

4. Experience in providing enterprise-wide solutions and identifying business & architecture patterns.

5. Experience and knowledge on different development platforms, languages and technologies including SOA, ESB, Java/J2EE, LAMP, Android, iOS and hybrid platforms for mobile app development.

6. Strong knowledge in implementing tools to optimize development processes and increase the efficiency of software development.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop a broad perspective on our current products, services and relevant technologies. Use that perspective to provide clear leadership and hands-on management of the Technology COE.

- Create and implement web and mobile technology strategies. Ensure that the strategies are up to date with relevant technology trends.

- Conceptualize and manage the development of web and mobile technology platforms and frameworks.

- Represent India IT at various technology conferences and forums.

- Mentor and lead architects & developers; providing guidance on design, implementation and best practices for both web (Java/J2EE) and mobile platforms.

- Interact with cross-functional groups including product managers, delivery managers and marketing to develop functional components, support existing systems and identify and manage reusable components.

- Facilitate the integration of web and mobile applications with the internal SOA platform.

- Plan and manage hardware, release and build environments and other tools.

- Plan and manage the technology capability road map for India IT.

- Responsible for all HR needs of the Technology COE including hiring, retention, performance management, employee satisfaction etc.

- Other duties as assigned.
