Looking for a Professional for a senior role :

Primary Skill:

- People Management, 24x7 Prod Support, Shell Scripting, Autosys (or any batch scheduling tool), PERL Scripting, SQL - SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase, ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Data Synapse Grip, Oracle Coherence cache, Service Now

Secondary Skill:

- Java Programming : Basic

Other Skills:

- Well Versed with Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Knowledge Management.

- Support of High Performance computing components like Grid, Cache

People Management Activities:

- Appraisal Processes,

- Creating Development Plans for team,

- Managing leaves to ensure proper shift coverage, and

- Motivating the team for better performance

Production Support Work:

- 24x7 Prod Support

- Shell Scripting

- Autosys (or any batch scheduling tool)

- PERL Scripting

- SQL - SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase

- Datasynapse Grid

- Oracle Coherence Cache

- ITRS Geneos

- Splunk

Programming Language :

- Java Programming : Basic

Processes:

Well Versed with:

- Incident Management

- Problem Management and

- Knowledge Management

- Preferred ITIL Foundation certification

- Ability to define and own SLA for the application / processes in scope

- Should be able to track incidents to closure and take the right decisions to ensure that the incidents do not breach SLA

- Should get to the bottom of each incident and understand the Root cause for the same

- Should analyze incidents to identify the issues that contribute to most impact and liaise with dev team and senior management to get them fixed permanently

- Should be able to capture and report on relevant matrices for the team as well as analyze these matrices to take appropriate action driven by data

- Is expected to be hands on and personally troubleshoot incidents

- Understanding of trading platforms will be a plus
