Technology Lead- Data Architect

B. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess existing IT landscape, processes & data and implement IFRS 17 solution its components (calculation engine, actuarial output processing, sub-ledger etc that meets regulatory standards & industry benchmarks

- Develop appropriate methodology framework for accounting & actuarial policies and technical position papers

- Assist in build, configure and test the IFRS 17 solution and assist in parallel runs to produce Ind AS compliant financial statements

- Manage, monitor and oversee project implementation phase to ensure timely delivery of key project milestones

- Provide post implementation support for generating financial & regulatory reporting

- Support and provide capability through IFRS 17 solution for business planning and management reporting

- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders

- Involved in defining project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations as well as managing the integration of various components of the project including hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, migration and data conversion, financial and costing etc

Experience:

- At least 8-10 years' experience working as a technology lead / project manager within the insurance industry, ideally across Financial, Actuarial or regulatory driven programmers.

- At least 2-3 years of experience in data warehousing, system integration and data architecture.

- Experienced in building data warehouse or advanced analytics solutions.

- Experience in End to End Life insurance IFRS 17 financial reporting environment.

- Must have managed 2-3 developers or vendors.

- Experienced and qualified in project management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills - experience working with senior executives is preferred.

- Comfortable working with uncertainty, highly adaptable.

- Should have prior work experience with functional user.
