Technology Head - On Demand Concierge Service

Our client provides a personal assistance service which enables you to shop from roadside to malls, pick and drop things, run errands and find domestic or professional help via App, WhatsApp, Call or SMS.

- They have tied up with hotels and offices to provide on demand concierge services to employees and travellers. The tasks can range from things like taking out photocopies, depositing cheques in banks, booking movie tickets to equipment repairs.

- The company is aiming to the one App to rule all Apps and provides a whole host of services including shopping, errands, logistics services, home services etc from within its app which has a very simple chat based interface.

- It started in Gurgaon and has already expanded to cover entire NCR and is working on the Bangalore launch currently.

- It's founders are alumnus from some of the best B-schools in India and it is well funded by domestic as well international VC funds.

- Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial Technology head who has a passion for building elite - teams, ideas, architectures and platforms

- The role is to assure the successful execution of the company's business mission by building company's technology strategy and implementation.

- As a technology head, he/she needs to be able to see technology at macro and micro levels simultaneously within the Company. The role necessitates a hands-on approach, with periodic on-call responsibility and other responsibilities include,

- Work with the Founders in building the vision, architecture, team, technology stack and platform

- Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the successof the business

- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web and mobile applicationframeworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company's services

- To design new tech products, like analytics, Big data, AI, etc.

- Identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success

- Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processesof direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriatelyand the organization's resources are used responsibly

- Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

- Recruit, hire and lead the technology team

Candidate Profile :

- Must be completely committed to building an elite company

- Experience with mobile and web application development

- BE/B.Tech or masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top tier engineering college is required.

- Maintain up to date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by attending relevant conferences and reading widely

- Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications

- Willing to work in Gurgaon

- Entrepreneurial attitude. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and keen attention to detail

- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
