Technology Architect / Senior Technology Architect - Microsoft Technology Platform

The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting, designing and leading technical discussions with clients and own the end to end architecture solution blueprints using Microsoft technology platform.

Responsibilities:

- Interfacing with client teams to understand the business requirements and translate into technical solution blueprints with the appropriate technology selection and architectural style.

- Executing quick technical feasibility and proof of concepts of emerging technologies.

- Identify and quantify the non-functional requirements like performance, security and integration.

- Evaluate the options of migration or re-architecting the existing applications

- Driving the architecture and design reviews and ensure the overall software quality.

- Guide team of developers throughout development projects for software designs and usage of software components in application modules.

- Documenting and sharing technical best practices / insights with engineering and the architect community

Key Qualifications:

- Proven track of architecting, designing and delivering the mid to large scale enterprise applications using Microsoft platform

- Excellent in-depth knowledge and practical experience on applying architecture and design patterns

- Must be familiar with enterprise integration patterns and understand their applicability.

- Must have hands-on experience on latest and cutting edge technologies.

- Must be aware of architecture and design tools like MS Visio, Enterprise Architect etc.

- In depth knowledge of various architecture styles like web, windows, distributed and service based.

- Good understanding of architecture principles and considerations for non-functional requirements (like Performance, Security and Integration for web applications)

- Good to have experience on architecting cloud based solutions (SaaS, PaaS or IaaS).

- Performance tuning and optimization experience will be added advantages.

- Ability to connect technology with measurable business value

- Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing situations

- Excellent communication skills and ability to present solutions to client's architecture team.

- Good to have work experience of individual contributor and mentoring the technical team
