Technical Training Officer - Cement Plant

Candidates having experience in Cement Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.

Role Overview:

ROLE : Training Officer

Company Name : For a leading Cement Plant Engineering MNC. (German Based)

Location : Dubai

Role & Responsibility:

- Primarily responsible for the coordination of technical trainings for plant staff

- Implementation of a knowledge data base and continuous workflow enhancement

- Managing and guiding the assigned Technical Trainers

- Selection and briefing of External Trainers

- Coordinating and defining technical training plans for the various plants world wide

- Planning, managing and controlling all activities and tasks related to the enhancement of the employee’s technical knowledge

- Controlling and guiding the daily work

- Ensuring well-organised communication of decisions and current developments

- Developing and implementing standardised reporting functions, work instructions for optimising the process chains

- Carrying out annual performance reviews of employees

- Responsible for the organization of technical customer training sessions

- Customer contact and communication partner for training preparation and execution

- Organisation of customer trainings and workshops

- Evaluation of global training requirements for the technical employees

- Preparation and documentation of training material

- Updating and verification of technical documents and descriptions

- Development and definition of training and educational objectives

- Evaluation of customer's feedback

- Evaluation of participation’s feedback

- Measurement of the participants training satisfaction and success

- Close cooperation with Human Resources department

- Continuous reporting to the Technical Director

- Comply with all relevant company and statutory environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

- University degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering

- Several years’ experience in the cement industry as Plant Manager, Production Manager or Maintenance Manager

- Ability to teach, coach and develop plant personnel

- Experience in leading and guiding technical experts

- Knowledge of modern maintenance technologies and methods

- Profound knowledge in process optimization methods

- Extensive didactic knowledge and experiences in professional knowledge management

- Confident manner in dealing with customers and plant staff

- Problem solving and negotiation skills

- Sound presentation skills, an outstanding ability to work in a team and a confident manner

- Very good MS-Office

- Business-fluent spoken and written English

- Further languages skills would be an advantage

- Willingness to travel to various locations
