1. Requirements capture/Scope discussion a. Liaison with the client for requirements and technical clarifications - this will include both the front-end and the back-end functionalities b. Ability to size work and agree on roll out dates c. Highlight risks and dependencies with the core platform feature 2. Development and Team management a. Firm up the approach/design in discussion with internal team (architects/tech leads) as well as with the client teams b. Ability to plan tasks for the team and track against the plan c. Ability to liaise with relevant client contacts (both technical and functional) to get required clarifications d. Plan QA activities and deployment support with other internal teams e. Ensure all the needed documentation are prepared f. Highlight risks and issues - both internal and external - to the management as well as to the client as appropriate 3. UAT Support and rollout a. Work with client to schedule UAT and participate in triaging sessions b. Schedule hotfixes and releases based on priorities c. Manage walkthrough of the application to the client as needed d. Co-ordinate deployment support activities Skills: 4. Tech Skills a. Good exposure to Java technologies specifically knowledge of Spring Boot framework, Spring MVC, handling REST APIs will be a big plus b. Should have participated in at least 3-4 complete Java-based development projects c. Knowledge of databases like MongoDB d. Understanding of data structures - specifically JSON/XML e. Exposure to UI technologies like React JS will be a plus f. Exposure to Container technologies such as Docker for deployment packaging will be a plus g. Experience in working as part of a product team will be a big plus 5. Other skills a. Good communication skills b. Ability to Co-ordinate between client teams and internal teams c. Team management (1-5 members) Note - PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred!!
