Job Purpose-
- Manage and control all projects for the assigned internal customer/ function
- Own the solution delivery (from user specs to development to testing to systems integration) and be ultimately responsible for the delivery of the project
- Ensuring uptime of the system in production / operations and adhere to performance SLAs.
- Technical Team Management and Regular status reporting to Head of technology.

Strategic -
- Interacting directly with the business analyst and/or operational teams in order to understand their needs and issues. Providing business and technical solutions to existing problems / requirements and enhance customer satisfaction on a continuous basis
- Vetting the Technical Design prior to implementation.
- Decide on the delivery approach and manage scope (scope definition, planning, verification and control) of all projects for the business
- Budgeting and estimation of resources and time for each project delivery. Creating a robust business case for the project and getting required approvals
- Analyze and interpret the business requirements for technical systems (generally within IT)
- Road map of new technology and opportunities to be analyzed and evaluated
- Owning up to all aspects of Project Management and ensure timely roll-out within Budget
Operational/Project management -
Put together the right team of Technical resources.
- Prioritization and scheduling of the project in line with the business requirements, resource availability and criticality of the solution.
- Ensuring all aspects of a project i.e. Business Requirements, Approvals, Delivery plan inclusive of testing is monitored and tracked closely.
- Handing Technical Operations and serve as the single point of contact for Business Analyst and Business operations.
- Provide leadership for direct delivery (project) teams to deliver within the required timeframe, as per specifications and of highest quality
- Serve as the escalation point for all development and production issues specific to projects
- Extracts and owns all risk for a project and regularly tracks the same. Prepares mitigation plan for all risks and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Maintains a rhythm for MIS and Reporting of all projects and their progress
Team Management
- Manage the project team to deliver as per the required quality and timelines.
- Build rapport with all Technical resources for products associated with the business, for a smooth working relationship.
- Manage Vendor related all issues, progress and performances
Profile:
Educational Qualification
- Computer Engineer/ Master in Computers from a reputed university or Graduate with MCS/MBA from a reputed university
Previous Experience-
- 5-10 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience of owning an application end-to-end Industry to be hired from - IT, ITES, Financial Services, Banking, Depositories, Exchanges
Skills and Knowledge required -
Budgeting and Estimation
- Technical expertise (preferably JAVA) / knowledge of the business and the products used by them
- Understanding of the Exchange operations and business
