Technical Project Manager - BFS

Role : Technical Project Manager

Location : Mumbai (Goregaon)

SUMMARY :

Under the supervision of Director of Application Development, the Project Manager will be responsible to provide technical leadership and work collaboratively with India and US team members managing numerous complex projects. The role collaborates to define scope, requirements, project governance, design, testing, timeline, and budget. The role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, and other departments involved.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee day-to-day activities of India Team and provide support as necessary to ensure projects are completed within specified due dates.

- Defines and manages all aspects of project planning including scope, budget, financial forecasting and scheduling.

- The candidate will participate in all aspects of the SDLC lifecycle including solution design, implementation and deployment. This role requires strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, software architecture, Web services, REST API, Cloud, AWS-

- Works on flexible schedule to have maximum overlap with US Team. Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

- Follows Agile Development Techniques and Team Collaboration Tools, preferably JIRA.

- Documents project decisions and distribute timely meeting minutes, to include track/manage action items and verify they are incorporated into the program schedule.

- Monitors and maintains project and/or program website and database, and issue and risk tracking logs.

- Preparing and defining Requests for Information and Proposals (RFI/RFP).

- Provide executive level status updates, and presentations.

- May contribute and/or lead vendor relationship management for project-related vendors; supports enterprise vendor management standards and coordinates initial contracts, licensing, compliance, contract renewals, and addenda to contracts with key project vendors.

Required skills/ Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent related practical experience

- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.

- 8+ years of project/program management experience and demonstrated success.

- 5+ years of experience that demonstrates an understanding of IT and/or finance

- Experience as onsite coordinator is preferred.

- Requires expertise in MS Office, MS Visio, and MS Project.

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise including external vendors.

- Strong Problem solving skills

- Project Management certification is preferred

- Communication skills has to be excellent

CTC : 20 to 25 lakhs per annum
