Technical Program Manager

Location : Pune (WFO)

- Project Manager work to ensure the team's success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and especially remove impediments impacting the team's ability to deliver.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

- Ensure resource availability and allocation.

- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

- Report and escalate to management as needed.

- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

- Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth.

- Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.

- Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.

- Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence.

- Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.

- Perform customer negotiations as needed.

- Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.

- Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations in consultation with the Vertical head/Delivery head.

- Develop scope and budget for delivery projects.

- Report delivery status to customers as a part of bi-weekly review connects and develop required delivery documentations.

- Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed to the management.

Requirements and skills :

- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.

- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector.

- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

- 8 -12 years of total IT experience and 5+ years' experience Project/Program Management role, preferably technical.

- Need experience of handling the fixed bid projects.

- AWS/GCP knowledge would be added advantage.

- Good general understanding of how large-scale software systems are designed, built, tested, deployed.

- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Experience in managing change requests and prioritization and support to the pre-sale's teams for technical proposals.

- Extensive background of Payment, Finance domain would be an added advantage.

- Experience working as Scrum Master/Agile framework is required.
