ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Engineering Manager/Technical Manager/Enterprise Architect is responsible for managing a highly technical team of architects, database specialists, and SCM staff focused on product development that aligns with the Oragnization's strategic roadmap.

- This position will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position's role is to manage the technology specialists to create innovative solutions to real market problems. He or she will work closely with Enterprise Architect, Agile Directors, Software Architects, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Works with Software Architects, other CoE members, Product Developers, subject matter experts and others on system architecture and interface development.

- Assists in definition of technical product requirements and oversees the creation of high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems/platforms.

- Provides technical guidance to other departments within the organization.

- Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale

- Keeps team members informed of changes in processes, design decisions and policies and helps to enforce initiatives from the Enterprise Architects office.

- Leads implementation of solutions that will improve the current product performance, quality, processes and standards.

- Recommends design solutions and hardware requirements that align with product business value.

- Writes unit, regression, load and stress tests to verify software programs. Prepares any test data required.

- Strong understanding of the Agile scrum methodology and how to work within an agile scrum environment.
