Technical Lead - Mobile

Job profile:

You will be part of the team developing game-changing applications for Banking, Healthcare, Retail and other business lines that will revolutionize the way companies deploy mobile apps for consumers, employees or business use. You will use a mix of technology including HTML5, dynamic languages, mobile OS APIs, server side programming and custom mobile technologies.

Responsibilities include:

- Own the design/code for the assigned solution

- Work with Product Management to define the product specifications

- Work with architects to develop the High Level Design

- Develop the technical implementation plans

- Deliver product features as per release schedule and quality expectations.

- Be an individual contributor (very hands on) - includes coding, code-review, code-refactoring

- Interact with pre-sales and prospective customers during product demos/evaluations

- Enhance efficiency of dev/test/release process – develop tools, frameworks as required

- Research & track developments in the mobile and application segments.

- Drive technology learning and provide mentorship to your team

- Participate in the full life-cycle development process from product definition, through design, development, test, release and maintenance

Desired profile:

Must

- Engineering educational background (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech)

- Minimum of 6+ years of work experience required

- Have lead a team of size at least 5

- Can Lead a team from design to development

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Excellent analytical skills (required for research and analysis)

- Familiarity with coding standards, should be able to set an example to the team

- Experience in designing solutions using UML, OOP, SOA or similar frameworks

Technical Skills: Language - Java; Technology - Servlets, JSP, XML, Web Services; WebServer - TomCat or JBoss; Database: RDBMS
Optional

- Prior experience with a product company is preferred

- Mobile application development experience is preferred

- One months’ notice at the current organization is preferred

- Have good experience in Object Oriented Programming

- Have good experience in Web Technologies and Web Services or Integration technologies.

- B1 visa holders preferred
