Technical Head - Property Valuation - NBFC

THE ROLE IS BASED OUT OF CHENNAI AND A PAN INDIA OPERATIONS ROLE

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Head Technical -AGM. Technical valuations across active locations for Secured Lending

2. Managing team of Technical team PAN India

3. Building a strong Technical Team with local market intelligence and competition mapping.

4. Visiting large sized properties for preparing technical valuation report.

5. Providing opinion to credit approves in case of any issues.

6. Regular interaction with valuation agencies and brokers in different markets to get a sense on fair market values of properties in different geographies and other developments in the market.

7. Identification and updating team on market intelligence and changes happening in approval processes of the development authorities.

8. Ensuring compliance with valuation policies, processes and development rules/regulations of respective location.

9. Providing professional technical support to the credit/risk/policy/Security

10. Underwriting team and all internal stakeholders.

11. Selection & Empanelment of vendor as per requirement for respective location followed by policy and process approved.

12. Vendor management including reports quality, periodic visit, audit and training.

13. Ensuring timely clearance of vendor bills of respective location.

14. Undertaking independent technical appraisal for valuation as per requirement.

15. Coordinating with vendors & other supporting functions for query resolution. Regular interaction with real estate players for updates on projects, property prices and local bylaws.

16. Preparation and maintenance of various technical related MIS and databases for respective location.

17. Sharing of real estate news/Data/, articles/research and other important information regularly PAN India
