Technical Head - MEP - Data Center

- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Manager with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to join our start-up datacentre team.

- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our MEP systems, while also contributing to the growth and success of our emerging datacentre business.

- He/She will design and develop the budget, systems, processes for the Data Center Construction

- The potential candidate will oversee the Data Center design, layout and architecture including core & shell, MEP design, power & fiber infrastructure needs to site.

- He/She will provide hands-on project management for strategic department-wide initiatives, inclusive of site selection, technology selection, quality, risk, effort, timeline, cost, resource allocation, system engineering, RFP/SOW creation, vendor selection/management, solution delivery, and implementation.

- The Technical Head will be responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing solutions, as well as actively engaging with customers, partners, and vendors. This role requires a self-driven individual who thrives in a start-up environment and is passionate about contributing to the company's journey of expansion.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Leverage your extensive knowledge of MEP systems to oversee their design, installation, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our datacentre infrastructure

- Site Validation and Feasibility Study

- Designing a scalable Data Center to manage present and future capacity based on business projection

- Setting up concept design, scope and expectation with Design Consultants

- Engineering for efficient designs for floor space, power density and cooling efficiency

- Responsible for DC layout including white spaces, grey spaces, racks, etc.

- Preparation of capex and opex budget, RFP with master plan design, core & shell and MEP design,

- Complete Fire Systems design and implementation, Fit outs, Testing & Data Center Design/Architecture and Build Promoter
