Key Accountabilities:
- Design strategic plans to drive technical operations across all manufacturing units of the organization. Drive production of high-quality ice cream products while adhering to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Create, monitor, & control technical department's budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.
- Oversee and manage all technical aspects including production processes, equipment maintenance, quality control, and product development across categories and units of the organization.
- Supervise and guide team on compliance with food safety and quality standards, implementing and maintaining effective quality management systems, conducting regular audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement, implementing best practices, and utilizing innovative technologies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Stay updated with relevant regulatory requirements, maintain necessary licenses and certifications, and ensure adherence to food safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development initiatives, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical expertise to ensure successful product launches.
- Work closely with suppliers, evaluating and selecting appropriate vendors for raw materials, machinery, and other technical requirements, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.
Qualification: Bachelors & Masters in Mechanical Engineering
Desired skills:
- Proven experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, quality control, and regulatory compliance in food industry (preferably Ice-Cream).
- Capability to identify and implement innovative solutions, technologies, and process improvements.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, attention to detail, and awareness on food safety regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
