Technical Head - App Architecture

Role: Technical Head

Location: Noida

Reporting to: Chief Digital Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Work closely with business analysts, design team and SEO team to understand requirements, identify requirement gaps and implement the technical solution in efficient, reusable and scalable manner.

- Work closely with the technical architects to design and improve the architecture of the app.

- Work closely with the technical architects to design and improve mobile sites, PWAs for the sites

- Understand architecture principles, design patterns and implement them for a robust, performant and reliable system.

- Provide effort estimation of assigned work and be able to complete as per the estimations and timelines with acceptable performance parameters.

- Produce low-level designs based on architecture and high-level design documents

- Should have a hands-on experience in coding in multiple frontend and backend languages.

- Should be willing to get his hands dirty with code when the team demands.

- Review technical documentation and perform code reviews.

- Work with the QA team for build and release management.

- On-board new members to the development team and provide hiring support.

Base requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar.

- 10 - 14 years of experience.

- Strong technical background.

- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills required:

- Knowledge on app, site and backend development tool/languages.

- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.

- Knowledge of REACT, Webpack, ES6+, ES7, Node and Flux architecture.

- Experience with RESTful APIs using NodeJS and PHP.

- Experience in database architectures - MySQL, MongoDB

- Familiarity with mobile application development - Android (Java) and iOS(Swift).

- Experience of working with highly scalable cloud architectures and deployments over AWS.

- Experience in integrating various payment platforms (both one-time / recurring)

- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services - EC2, Load Balancing, S3, etc.

- Good knowledge about the application of data and performance measurement tools such as Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics.

- Comfortable with agile software development process; result-oriented sprints with quick turn-around times

- Should be passionate about technology and should be willing to work hard for finding creative solutions to real world tech problems
