Technical Director - Traceability Solutions - IT

Purpose of the Role ;

Technical Director will look after development and management of its key technical projects with the goal of delivering every project on time with committed scope.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for managing and delivering key technical projects within agreed schedules with high industry standard.

- Develop projects on Farm Data collection/ cotton traceability as per requirement.

- Build a comprehensive maintenance plan for all tech tools being used by the organisation

- Drive the team to create SOPs with clear TAT for development, troubleshooting or maintenance requests

- Analysing operations and providing cost-effective suggestions for improvement.

- Streamlining processes so that the business operates at maximum efficiency.

- Assist in creating in-house standards

- Oversee each project's life cycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency.

Desired Skills :

- Experience working with / on end to end traceability solutions or Blockchain based traceability tools

- Strong analytical, relationship and project Management skills for driving initiatives

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

- Minimum of bachelor's degree in IT or Computer science

- Technical Proficiency in Software Development using Java, Struts Framework/ Mobile Technologies is preferred
