Delivery Head (Java) - Start up Organisation

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the successful delivery of multiple projects and programs, guiding them from conception to completion while ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the technical delivery team, comprising project managers, program managers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel.

- Oversee the entire development life cycle, ensuring seamless progression until the final product is delivered to the customer.

- Continuously monitor and assess key performance indicators pertaining to product delivery, proactively identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.

- Identify and mitigate project-related risks, employing proactive measures to circumvent potential obstacles and ensure smooth project execution.

- Promptly address any issues or setbacks in product delivery by devising and implementing corrective measures and robust contingency plans.

- Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and innovative work culture within the project delivery teams, fostering an environment of excellence.

- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and clients in matters pertaining to project delivery, representing the company's interests in client meetings and negotiations.

Remain abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into project solutions to enhance competitiveness and innovation.

- Collaborate closely with clients to identify opportunities for additional services or improvements to existing projects, driving client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members to nurture their growth and maximize their potential.

Requirements :

- 12-18 years of extensive experience in IT Services Delivery

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration

- Proven track record in IT project, portfolio, and delivery management

- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in project management methodologies and associated techniques

- Strong technical understanding and experience in software development preferably in Java

- Proficient in cost management for projects
