Business Central Technical Consultant

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a skilled Business Central Technical Consultant with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions while working closely with business stakeholders and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business requirements.

- Design and implement extensions using AL language and Visual Studio Code.

- Perform system integrations with third-party applications using APIs, Web Services, and OData.

- Optimize Business Central performance by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data migration scripts.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and Microsoft guidelines.

- Work closely with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning for Business Central applications.

- Implement security roles, permissions, and access control for Business Central users.

- Provide technical documentation and training for end-users and support teams.

Required Skill Set:

- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV development.

- Proficiency in AL programming language and experience with Visual Studio Code.

- Expertise in developing and integrating Business Central solutions using APIs, Web Services, and OData.

- Good understanding of SQL Server, relational databases, and performance optimization techniques.

- Experience in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) and Azure services is a plus.

- Knowledge of report development using RDLC, SSRS, or Power BI.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent understanding of ERP implementation lifecycles and business processes.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.
