Job Summary: The Technical Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with IT and business teams to implement solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, technical specifications, and process flows.
- Analysis and Documentation: Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows, and create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
- Solution Design: Work with IT teams to design and propose technical solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Testing and Validation: Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business units and IT, facilitating effective communication and ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use new systems and processes effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or IT-focused role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, or other enterprise applications is a plus. Experience in working with lambda, APIs, rest APIs and ETL.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
