Technical Architect/Senior Technical Architect - Java - Product Firm

Our Product Based Company Client is Hiring JAVA Technical Architect / Sr. Technical Architect

Reports to : Head of Platform and Technology

Qualifications & Experience :

- Engineering with Computer Science from a reputed Institution.

- 10 - 15 Years of experience in design and development of enterprise level applications.

- Should be highly proficient in Java Technologies, Web services, and one or more RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, or DB2

- Desirable to have proficiency in Hadoop Ecosystem, Map reduce programming paradigm, Clustered in-memory databases like Infinispan, NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, and Polyglot-programming

- Knowledge of traditional enterprise application integration(EAI) products such as IBM websphere,BEA Weblogic server, JBOSS etc.,

Demonstrate a range of software development skills, such as :

- Data access and transactions

- Factoring and refactoring

- Tiers and layers

- Application of patterns

- Integration strategies

- Industry certification on various Technologies

- Proven track record of success, growth and solid career upward progression

- He/She must have demonstrated experience in partnering with the businesses to manage major transformation and business development initiatives and be laser-focused on execution

- Thorough knowledge of Technology and an understanding of best practices

- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills.

- Communication skills (verbal, written & face to face). The post holder will need to be confident to 'stand-alone' and present material to an audience

- Ability to deal with ambiguity, to multi-task and to deliver high quality output whilst managing competing priorities and deadlines

Specific Responsibilities :

- Understands architectural best practices and use them with breadth of latest technologies to orchestrate solutions.

- Broad knowledge on a wide spectrum of technologies with deep knowledge in two or more core technology areas.

- Capability to articulate on trends in developments in technology, and understand their usability in solution architecture.

- Able to deep dive into source code to trouble-shoot problems and give expert guidance on timely resolution.

- Should have been a lead designer for at least 2 years.

- Should have architected multiple enterprise solutions

- Sound knowledge in the development of near real time online systems

- Desired skill sets of Agile Methodology

- Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design solutions that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, high availability, and manageability,

- Experience in Clustered applications for distributed parallel processing

- Think abstractly and demonstrate effective application of service-based, object-based, and component-based modeling of Transaction processing solutions.

- Have a broad architectural knowledge of several technology areas and be able to compare and contrast multiple vendor offerings in those areas
