Technical Architect - Java/J2EE - eCommerce

Technical Architect - Java, J2EE ,E-commerce ( Exp-10-15 Years)

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated technical architect for one of our esteem client with previous experience in architecting complex software products to lead the architecture definition of our software offerings.

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain artifact describing business goals and strategy

- Provide clear vision for strategic requirements that spans different systems, providing roadmaps that steer the implementation of change initiatives

- Responsible for preparation of architectural description of enterprise elements (Strategy, Data, Systems, Processes, etc)

- Accountability to ensure that architecturally relevant long term decisions

- Responsible for defining/conceptualizing principles based on the architectural data collected and aligning technology strategy & business strategy

- Define and manage enterprise-level roadmaps

- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex applications

- Ensure overall solution-level integrity of applications

- Collaborate with stake holders and business across the enterprise

- Communicate and collaborate with Business, IT and Operations teams

Technical Skills

- Solid experience in architecting multiple enterprise level applications on both web and mobile platforms

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of current web and mobile technologies and trends

- Experience and knowledge on different server environments, tuning, clustering, synchronization, vertical and horizontal scaling.(no experience)

- Experience and knowledge on different development platforms, languages and tools including Java/J2EE, LAMP, Android and iOS based technologies

- Experience and knowledge on different operation systems

- Experience and knowledge on different data management systems

- Strong knowledge and experience on different architectural principles, components, integration strategies.

- Strong exposure to eCommerce integration on leading platforms

- Wider knowledge on industry standards systems, common environment and their architecture

- Ability to judge the usability and functionality of API’s of existing websites like LinkedIn/Google/Facebook

- Responsible for strategizing the availability, sustainability and maintenance of the server(s) within the product environment

Command and experience on the following concepts

- Architecture lifecycle development methodologies

- Data and Information Architecture

- Software Solution Architecture

- Business process modeling

- Enterprise information management

- Portfolio rationalization

- IT strategic planning and business alignment

- Portfolio management

Qualification:

- University degree in IT/Computer Science

Experience:

- More than 5 years of leadership experience in architecture

- 5-8 years of experience with web development, mobile development, CMS structures, templates and customizing and infrastructure

- Total experience not less than 10 years in the industry with at least 5 years in a large scale eBusiness setting

- Should have worked on large scale eCommerce portals and applications.
