Technical Architect - Java

Hiring Technical Architect - Java for a leading Product company .

Work closely with Product Owner to understand vision & requirements, create roadmap planning and shape the epics & stories required for the scrum team.

- Design the overall system architecture and integration with external systems & services to meet the response & throughput volume requirements of the services.

- Perform design, code & test plan reviews, manage configurations for multiple environments and assist with build activities to ensure continuous integration.

- Conduct different proof of concepts to aid design decisions

- Contribute during sprint backlog grooming to estimate the user stories

- Is a self-learner and takes initiatives to interact with Platform teams to understand different technologies offered by them and use them effectively

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Good academic record and graduated (B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD) from a reputed institution

- 10 - 20 years of IT experience.

- Excellent programming skills using Java/J2EE, XML/ JSON, XSL, Oracle ,SQL ,JMS, RESTful web services

- A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving

- Proficient with transaction processing, RDBMS concepts and is familiar with locking & basic tuning concepts of Oracle database

- Exposure to Linux/UNIX shell scripting, source code control (GIT), build tools (Ant/Maven), configuring & deploying applications on JBoss, WebLogic or WebSphere are a plus

- Loves technology and is passionate about building large & highly scalable services .
- Broad expertise in business domain knowledge, ideally in payment processing

- Economy in design and where possible, elegance

- Creative solutions that exceed/supersede direct requirements

- Proven experience with working in fast paced, small teams that follow flexible and adaptive methodologies. Independent and self initiative in driving development and technical process improvement

- Promote good coding standards and design principles

- Effectively interface with customers and have a desire to delight customers

- Excellent communication skills, technical mentor, great team player, highly efficient and responsible
