We have an opportunity for a Technical Architect for one of our client, which provides revenue management and business assurance solutions for financial institutions and digital and communications services providers.
Job Description:
- As the Technical Architect, must be able to provide technical expertise and guidance for the overall design and architecture of the projects. Participation in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise applications.
- Interaction with business partners to share and direct architecture practices that may affect business solution delivery. This role will also involve in evaluating and recommending emerging relevant technologies.
Required Skills:
- 10 or more years’ experience in object oriented Core Java software development
- Must understand architectural best practices and apply them across breadth of technologies to orchestrate a solution
- Must be able to articulate their views on the future development of a technology (infrastructure and solution architecture).
- Must be hands-on and highly proficient in Java technologies.
- Should have been a lead designer for atleast 2 years.
- Must have worked on Emerging technologies, Component, Solution modelling, Solutions frameworks (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition [J2EE]), Integration, as evidenced by knowledge of traditional enterprise application integration (EAI) products such as IBM WebSphere, or BEA WebLogic,
- Knowledge of Oracle and DB2
Desired Skills:
- Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability
- Think abstractly and demonstrate effective application of service-based, object-based, and component-based modelling
- Effectively adapt solutions to the capabilities and constraints of the infrastructure.
Demonstrate a range of software development skills, such as:
- Data access and transactions
- Factoring and refactoring
- Tiers and layers
- Application of patterns
- Integration strategies
- Have broad architectural knowledge of several technology areas and must be able to compare and contrast multiple vendor offerings in those areas
