Role overview :

- The cloud team seeks a Technical Architect to join our group of highly skilled engineers, designers, testers and analysts. You will be designing products for massive scale capable of handling millions of customers. You will be responsible for building, and delivering Cloud products in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. In this role:

- You should be able to understand business requirements and offer technology solutions that meet those requirements. The candidate should be able take long term view and offer strategic solutions to drive the technology direction of the organization.

- You will lead architect for one or more of medium to high complexity, size and business impact. You should be able to work independently with limited direction, communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and other project stakeholders

- You will establish, monitor and manage appropriate processes and methodologies for software product development and release

- You will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products to be deployed on mobile and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with different teams in a matrix project organisation setup and take ownership and responsibility to deliver the best software product or application with most efficient use of resources, processes and technologies.

- You will also assess and manage risks, issues, dependencies, manage changes, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage moderate risk taking behaviour to maximize business benefits without sacrificing quality of deliverables.

- You will support relevant stakeholders to assemble project teams, define goals, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, estimate, plan and develop schedules, and monitor and track continuously to ensure successful completion and delivery of projects.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of professional application or solution architecture experience for the design, development, and delivery of software applications and services with rich UI/presentation layers across a variety of technology platforms and frameworks in the embedded, mobile, desktop, web, and/or cloud spaces

- Depth of technical skills and expertise in programming methodologies and practices, application platforms and frameworks, service orientation, technology standards and specifications, and technical modeling of systems and services in one or more domains relevant to current and/or future frog services

- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis and building substantiated recommendations of appropriate technology solutions that address user experience, technical, operational, and business considerations in parallel

- Demonstrated ability to lead software systems design, provide appropriate team support and maintenance of artifacts throughout the software engineering lifecycle, and collaborate with software engineers, design technologists and creative leaders on common user experience goals expressed through software realization

Responsibilities :

You must have :

- Strong experience in designing end to end solutions that are highly available, scalable and fault tolerant. The candidate should be able to offer different architectural patterns or solution designs to this effect.

- Broad technical experience in multiple technologies and should be flexible to quickly learn and assess new technologies and products as required.

- Hands on experience, ready to do hands on work whenever needed to assess and offer right technology solution meeting underlying uses cases or technology problems.

- Awareness of latest technology trends and technologies and insight to leveraged these trends and technologies to the benefit of the organization.

- Solid experience in the following concepts/technologies - Java, J2EE, Spring, BPM, ESB, SOA, Web Services, Messaging, RDBMS, No SQL etc

- Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture based designs and solutions, and should be able to design such solutions for very large applications.

- Demonstrated ability to prototype concepts around problem areas and drive development of customized solutions
