- The role requires managing and expanding sales on various Indian and international eCommerce sites. It involves responsibilities such as account management, cataloguing, campaign management, inventory management, vendor coordination, and sales analysis. Experience with Amazon and Flipkart marketplace is preferred. E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to drive online sales, improve customer acquisition, and enhance user experience. Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform. Ensure the platform's functionality, responsiveness, and performance meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Sales Optimization: Implement strategies to increase conversion rates and average order value. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Inventory and Logistics: Collaborate with relevant departments to manage inventory levels and optimise logistics processes. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment while minimising costs. Customer Experience: Focus on enhancing the overall customer journey, from website navigation to post-purchase support. Implement customer feedback mechanisms and address issues to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with overall marketing initiatives. Collaborate on promotional campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives to drive online sales. Analytics and Reporting: Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse e-commerce performance metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Key Skills - Responsible for managing and growing sales on eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, etc., is essential. In charge of account management, cataloging, campaign management, and promotion on eCommerce portals.
- Oversees global client relationships, inventory management, and coordination with vendors.
- Executes key tasks such as uploading images, preparing sales reports, and attending sales reviews. - Focuses on payment management, customer relationships, and tie-ups with new marketplaces. - Required to track competitor activity, explore new online channels, and develop strategic plans to meet business goals.
- Qualifications: Bachelors/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience of 2 - 4 years in e-commerce management roles. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, online sales strategies, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in e-commerce.
