Tech Program Manager (Banking) - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Our client, a global consulting firm, is collaborating with a major player in the banking industry to design and develop a cutting-edge digital banking platform. The project encompasses retail, SME, and corporate banking nuances, aiming to create a comprehensive and innovative solution.

To support this initiative, they are currently seeking a Senior Techno-functional Program Manager.

Key Deliverables:

- Managing the overall program, including tracking dependencies, stakeholder management, and problem-solving

- Translating business requirements into technical requirements in collaboration with the SI vendor

- Ensuring timely execution and resolving bottlenecks

- Delivering the program within the stipulated timeframe

- Managing client stakeholders and ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Your Background:

- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in banking and techno-functional program management, with a preference for those with 10-15 years in corporate banking, operations, or program management

- Technical degree (e.g., Engineering) and an MBA or similar qualifications

- Deep understanding of the latest trends in digital banking

Essential Skills:

- Successful track record in project/program management

- Deep knowledge and experience in banking, particularly digital banking and business/corporate banking

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum preferred) and program management frameworks (e.g., PMI PMBOK)

- Experience in managing product backlogs and leading cross-functional teams

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract with a high possibility of an extension. The selected consultant will be required to be based in Mumbai for the entire contract duration.
