Tech Ops Lead Analyst - SWIFT - BFSI

Applicants are sought for a Technology Operations Lead Analyst position within the Shared Services Group which provides following services:

1. Global Financial Messaging (GFM)

2. Global Sanctions Screening (OFAC system)

3. Enterprise Service BUS (iBus)

- The role will involve the production support of the GFM systems which are responsible for providing the shared services of financial messaging (SWIFT/Telex/Fax) , OFAC compliance filtering globally and Enterprise Service Bus

- The support team is split between India, UK and USA to currently provide onsite cover 24 x 7 hours Monday to Friday. The teams in Mumbai will cover following hours 06:00 to 15:00 and 9:00 to 18:00 India local time.

- The role will need to closely liaise with the Application Development, Project Delivery, Quality Assurance and Technology Infrastructure groups in order to assess and feedback to them any identified risks from upcoming changes to the Production systems.

- Tech Ops Lead is expected to lead a team of around 4 to 6 people in Mumbai and need to work in very close coordination with team leads of US and UK regions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Qualifications to a minimum of College Degree specialized training or equivalent work experience.

- 9 to 11 yrs total and 4 yrs relevant work experience in BFSI domain specially in SWIFT Payment area

Knowledge of financial messaging applications:

- SWIFT

- FileAct

- InterAct

- SWIFT Alliance Access

- SWIFTNet Alliance Gateway

- OFAC compliance filtering systems in particular Fircosoft Filtering Application

Knowledge and experience of distributed technologies to include

- Unix / Solaris / AIX

- Shell Scripting

- Oracle 11g

- WebMethods

- PL / SQL

- Websphere MQ

- Java

- Mainframe: Batch & CICS

Essential Skills

- Able to work under pressure to resolve issues affecting the production services

- Excellent analytical skills.

- Good communication both written and verbal.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external teams.

- nitiative to identify, escalate and resolve potential issues that may affect service.

- A good appreciation of controlled change management in a highly critical environment.

- Develop Subject Matter expertise in Products / Domains that are been worked upon.

Other Responsibilities

- Change management Approvals.

- Ensure Production Stability.

- Represent the group in change approval board.

- Team management and work and project distribution, rota preparation , leaves and comp-off tracking

- Weekend readiness meeting

- Global and Local team meeting.
