Tech Mahindra - Design & Development Role - Data Visualizations

- 10 plus years of experience in design and development of data visualization using multiple tools like Qlik, Power BI, Tableau and MicroStrategy

- Should have knowledge and experience on at least 2 different data visualization tools.

- Architect and hands-on development of Analytics and Reporting solutions using Tableau or Power BI or MicroStrategy

- Good understanding and Experience in working in Data Warehouse projects as a Reporting Architect.

- Knowledge in Cloud Technology is desirable

- Deep knowledge of BI features and functions. Ability to recommend visualization features designs most appropriate to data and analysis needs of business users.

- Ability to work with business to deliver dashboards, as well as to train and evangelize the use of visualization within the client business areas.

- Experience with connecting Data Visualization tools to multiple disparate data sources and like Netezza , Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA and MySQL

- Deep knowledge of BI features and functions. Ability to recommend visualization features designs most appropriate to data and analysis needs of business users.

- Ability to work with business to deliver dashboards, as well as to train and evangelize the use of visualization within the client business areas.

- Ability to demonstrate complex information and large data set and translate then into meaningful visualization. Making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable

- Develop intuitive and attractive static and interactive data visualizations using analytic and visualization tools

- Knowledge of graphics and visualization tools such as Adobe CS 5 Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Flash etc

- Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings

- Ability to Build Visualization for all kind of data, including Financial, Digital and other external Data sources.

- Provide business users Visual Analyses and interactive Dashboards to help them analyse and explore data

- Build automatic solutions which can replace manual reports with automatic Dashboards using Visual Best practices

- Work closely with data architects to provide requirements to improve data analytics, performance and usability

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively, work autonomously in a very fast paced and demanding environment.

- Strong understanding of business processes for functions such as Sales, Finance, and professional services in order to be able to better support their Business Intelligence needs.
