Job Purpose:

This job opening is for a staff responsible to ensure a seamless management of Development and delivery functions for Trade Technology

Job Background/context:

Responsible to manage the team for development for TTS-Trade Finance Domain, review opportunities and execute for efficiencies and quality improvement

Key Responsibilities:

- Candidate would be involved in development of existing global Trade projects working right from design to implementation

- To deliver high quality software programs adhering to coding standards

- To participate in designing the systems, converting functionality into technical design and preparation of test plans

- Design reviews, program specifications review and test plan review

- Hands on in programming for Trade projects

- Coordinate with business/OPS and Global partners for gathering business requirements

- Work across multiple development teams - offshore / onshore and track project deliverables closely

- Integration of business and Technology units across TTS and communicate program status to wider forums

- Partnership and working closely with cross functional teams for brainstorming on best solution

- Able to be a lead from the front, to get down and work with team and understand the problem and resolve

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience:

- Person with 10+ years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology ; Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance is preferred

- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills ; Proven experience managing staff and function transition between locations and time-zone preferred

- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data); partnership and networking skills to be the key

- Relationship management skills -- ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a strong leader

- A strong commitment to quality and efficiency

Skills Required:

- Strong Technical background in JAVA / J2EE, Oracle applications; Exposure on J2EE technologies such as JDK 1.6, JSP,DWR, Struts 2.3, Spring Framework, AJAX

- Good Exposure to JQuery Easy UI, HTML 5.0, Database concepts

- At senior leadership level, person should get to a more closer view of problems and interaction with the teams

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
