Designation: Technical Architect / Technical Manager / Technical Lead

Exp: 8+ years

Location: Malad, Mumbai

Team size 7 to 10 people to manage initially

Skills Required :

Skills Required: The key skills required are:

- Excellent ability to interpret business requirements and create technical design documents and produce appropriate architecture and designs.

- At least 2 years experience in Hadoop technologies and related ecosystem (MR programming PIG, Hive Oozie, Python, HBase, Sqoop, Flume)

- Excellent knowledge and demonstrable hands-on experience in other Big Data technologies, like Solr, No-SQL DBs, and similar.

- Excellent working knowledge in Dot Net Web Technologies (Asp.Net, C#. Jscript, JSON)

- Excellent knowledge and demonstrable hands-on experience in relational databases, especially SQL Server

- Working knowledge on core JAVA

- Basic people management skills are required.

- Ability to create and work with project plans for small/medium deliverables, task schedules for other junior team members and must be able to track the tasks.

- 1+ years experience working within a Global (time zone separated) team. Candidate will be required to work geographically dispersed teams, specially team(s) in New York

- Ability to guide team members through software design, coding and testing tasks, and be able to perform code reviews as needed

- Skilled in algorithm design is desirable

- Background in Financial Services would be preferred

Skills Desired:

- Excellent communication skills in English language are essential, both written and oral

- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate or contribute thought leadership are required

- Good problem solving skills

- Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them constructively while promoting this approach to other team members.

- Ability to set an example for team members in the following manner: hard work, a focus on client delivery, preparedness, organization, a positive attitude and respect for others.
