(C) JOB DESCRIPTION :
Managing the overall Transaction Analytics requirement of the Wholesale banking desk
- Creating awareness across processing teams and levels with a view to manage operational risks with reference to accurate value added integrated data capture.
- Facilitate and evaluate the reporting automation requirements to ensure that client requirements and underlying data dependencies are adequately identified and assessed
- Ensure adequate governance through data protection review committees and dash board to highlight the status of reporting environment
- Perform system validations and control checks to ensure that automated reporting related accuracy assurance
- Recording, tracking and monitoring around stake holder identified reporting capability to deliver stake holder requirement within accepted timelines
- Liaise with internal and external stake holder and ensure data security adherence and ensure nil findings in Audits/reviews
- Also track and provide issue assurance for audit findings within accepted timelines
- Work closely with control teams and control office to manage the risks in the end to end reporting processes
- Ensure adequacy of framework around reporting related Internal controls
- Building and managing relationship with the stake holders to ensure timely response to stake holder requests
- Work in close co-ordination with risk functions to support entity level risks such as information security, compliance, BCP etc.
Customers/Stake Holders
- Maintain key stake holder relationships to manage timely provision of the required data and process the same into information using integration tools and security features to secure customer data.
- To support and ensure that respective department fully considers and effectively manages data security risks in accordance with established policies and procedures .
Leadership & teamwork
- Actively engage in establishing a strong and robust Transaction Analytics environment in the organisation.
- Be a good team player self driven and motivated
- Ability to deal with other departments&senior management
- Professional, functional ( technical ) skills, experience ( key requirements as appropriate)
Candidate Profile:
Knowledge
Knowledge of Banking functions such as Treasury, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Working Capital, Capital Markets, Clearing, Fx Remittances is a must.
Understanding of interconnectivity within data to deliver superior customer solutions is an added advantage.
Skills
- Good Analytical Skills dealing with analysing and validating of reporting requirement and base data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Should have an eye for detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to validate the information presented, provide reasoned explanation to ensure that agreement on accuracy is ensured by both parties.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members or wider business including senior executive management and ability to develop a good rapport in challenging situations.
- Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
- Assertive with a positive attitude and an open mind
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate /Postgraduate with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a leading bank managing the transaction analytics domain.
- SQL and other report generating certification would be an added advantage
