Team Member/Team Lead - Offsite Audit & Continuous Control Monitoring

About:

Primary function of the role is to support implementation of Offsite Audits and Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) agenda by designing, writing and optimize complex SQL scripts/Python scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources for the purpose of internal audit and continuous control monitoring for ABSLI and meet with all audit documentation and reporting requirements as per audit policy and procedures and leading best practices. Implement and follow an agile, iterative, adaptive approach during the development/delivery
of audit technology solutions to meet the timely needs of Audit and add the most value

Responsibilities:

- SQL Development: Design, write, and optimize complex SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources for the purpose of internal audit and monitoring.

- Data Analysis: Collaborate with data analysts to identify and interpret patterns or anomalies in data, providing insights that help in the assessment of risks and controls.

- Reporting: Create and maintain automated reporting tools that provide real-time insights into the effectiveness of controls and risk indicators.

- Collaboration: Work closely with audit managers and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Support in driving discussion with internal teams to identify areas where technology can add value and existing data can be used to improve audit tests and audit knowledge

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all scripts and programs developed, ensuring they are easy to understand and maintain. Catalogue scripts/algorithms used for conducting data-based tests as part of Offsite audit and CCM across the group and respective units

- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all developed solutions adhere to the company's data security policies and industry regulations.

- Python Programming: Develop Python scripts for data analysis, process automation, and integration of different data sources to support continuous monitoring and control activities.

- Provide input into development of script and enhancing the same for implementation of data analytics strategy across Internal Audit Services
