SDM - Map Operations/TM - Map Operations
Key Responsibilities : Responsible for project delivery and management, Responsible for people Management, staffing, SLA performance management, and development /coaching of Leads, Team Managers etc. Responsible for overall motivation and morale of the group. Responsible for customer Satisfaction, resource utilization, project profitability and quality and Process management. Provides direction for the Team Managers and the project team in all the project phases. Closely monitors of critical aspects of project critical paths
Job Requirement and Skills :
- Practical knowledge of technology, products and domain areas-

- Good understanding of the domain to suggest alternatives to customers, Good understanding of quality and Process frameworks
- Risk analysis and mitigation skills Basic understanding end user operational and technological knowhow of online maps and their uses for navigation, information and other location based services
- Ability to manage multiple short to long term projects/programs of varying dynamics within online maps space and should be able to plan, prototype, execute new projects, workspaces and technical specifications with an eye to sustain, add value and grow the business unit
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills & attention to details to ensure accuracy is a must
- Comfortable dealing with rapidly-evolving work environment
- Strict adherence to deadlines with understanding work productivity and efficiency
- Willing to work in a shift based work schedule
Supervisory Level: Works under minimal supervision. Provides input to business unit level decisions, Has authority to make project delivery related decisions
People Management :
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Team Managers, Leads etc. Identify training needs and establish training plans for the team. Build relationships with multiple units or teams across the organization to facilitate effective working of own team.- Set clear and objective goals for team. Conduct appraisals. Manage a sizeable Program(s) Team of/up to 120-150 members.- Responsible for people recognitions, appraisals and feedback. Drive process compliance and track relevant metrics for teams (applicable to all supervisors)
People Interactions - Within own team or department at supervisory level.- Contact with customer up to and including mid-level / senior level management. Contact with peers in the Organization at middle/senior managementlevel
Business Development :
Contribution to Business presales (RFP, RFP etc)
Job Expectations :
Skills Required :
- Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline
- EXP for TM - At least 9 years of experience in online maps related processes with at least 3 years, experience as a Team Manager(AM/DM)
- EXP for SDM - At least 12 + years of experience in online maps related processes with at least 3 years- experience as a Project/Operations Manager
- Ability to maintain and analyze large data sets efficiently and undertake program level action plans towards improvements in Quality and Efficiencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills along with excellent reading comprehension in English Language
- Skillset and hands on experience on identifying/understanding Mapping/Editing operations that involve creation/Update/maintenance of Base Maps which usually involves referencing the provided real world imagery, aerial and satellite imagery sources, shapes files, LIDAR sources etc.
- Ability to create Process flows, Work flows and chart out, implement, track and review plan/measures to sustain/improve overall Quality and Efficiencies of a Program
- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning abilities
- Excellent presentation and mass communication skills
- Knowledge of working on MS Excel / Spreadsheets in areas like Macro, vlookup, pivot table, charts is a value add
- Basic knowledge of SQL language & data mining is a value add
