Team Manager - Risk Technology Division - HFT Trading Firm

Our client is one of the leading HFT trading firms in Asia and is actively seeking an experienced Manager for the Risk Technology division to join their team in India. This division designs in-house risk calculation and monitoring systems to maintain an accurate view of real-time trading risk. You will be working in a high performance environment at the forefront of some of the latest technology in the field.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading a Risk Technology development team

- Working with Risk Managers and Trading Teams to understand business requirements and producing relevant development tasks

- Managing prioritization and execution of projects, including tracking key decision making, deliverables and reporting on project progress through the project life cycle

- Preparing a technical roadmap and producing the required tasks, resources and schedule for complex projects

- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project documentation

- Taking end-to-end responsibility by being hands on with design, development, testing and production support

- To qualify for this position will require:

- At least 6 years of development experience in C++ with at least 3 years of experience of managing teams

- Prior work experience in Finance with an understanding of various financial instruments and real-time trading risk

- Excellent project management skills and being able to manage long-term projects along with immediate business needs

- Experience executing a large migration project to a new technology or architecture

- Experience following the Agile methodology

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- A degree in computer Science or a related field
