Team Manager - Reference Data - HFT Trading Firm

Our client is one of the leading HFT trading firms in Asia and is actively seeking an experienced Manager to help lead their Reference Data team in India. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in its field. You will be responsible for leading the development team responsible for delivery transactional data.

- The firm successfully trades a number of different strategies in a variety of markets. We have an extremely high-performance network that processes a vast amount of financial information in real time.

Responsibilities will include :

- Developing the reference data infrastructure across all critical data masters

- Ensuring you have solid knowledge of different products and their data validity requirements

- Leading the data master development team in India

- Interacting with traders to understand their requirements and provide solutions

- Architect new reference data systems and define workflow and processes re data management

- Preparing a technical roadmap and communicating the status to stakeholders on a periodic basis

To qualify for this position will require:

- At least 12-15 years of experience in Java, Python and SQL

- Hands-on experience in having built and managed reference data systems

- A good understanding of web based solutions

- Significant experience of dealing with of RDBMS and NOSQL solutions and modeling data relationship in these solutions.

- Experience in Angular JC, javascript, version control and html (a plus)

- Experience in Finance and an understanding of financial instruments and trade lifecycle

- A degree in computer science or a related field

- Good written and oral communication skills
