Team Manager- Digital Marketing
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who will act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for the marketing team and manage specialist resources. This role will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members. They will source, onboard, and manage a team of marketing specialists dedicated specifically to (GGB) divisional marketing. This team will initially focus on data management and reporting and may eventually expand to include graphic design and writing. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the global GGB marketing team to execute on global strategies and align global processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the GCOE marketing resources, providing coaching, feedback, and assessing team skills and aptitude. Develop each team member and motivate them to high performance. Ensure proper training and technical accesses are in place for marketing resources.
- Work with GCOE marketing resources to ensure requests are completed accurately and in accordance with standard practices/guidelines and project timeframes.
- Serve as the SPOC for management, prioritization, and coordination of all requests.
- Own the intake process, assign resources to work requests, and manage fair distribution of work requests across the marketing resources.
- Oversee and manage complex production schedules for concurrent projects and phases with multiple stakeholders, cross-functional resources, and competing deadlines.
- Manage projects from the GGB marketing team to support detailed data and technical requests and recurring maintenance projects. Surface results to key stakeholders and leadership.
- Provide status updates/reports for GGB marketing leadership.
- Keep informed about the latest developments in divisional marketing and communicate information to the GCOE marketing team.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Gallagher business model, specifically GGB, products and services, operations, and tools.
Possible future responsibilities:
- Manage resources in the development of a variety of content assets including emails, social media posts, display ads, etc.
- Manage requests for content assets for internal communications, including building emails, graphic requests, PowerPoint development, etc.
Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS in marketing, operations, or relevant business experience. (Masters Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or a related field with a concentration in campaign development and management, project management, and graphic support.
- 2+ years of experience at a leadership level, managing teams.
- Experience with a variety of online tools, including CRM (Salesforce), web analytics, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Successful track record managing people and processes.
- Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
