MANDATORY ASK: 8+ YEARS' OVERALL WORK EXPERIENCE WITH 5+ YEARS TEAM MANAGEMENT EXP / EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH RELEVANT TOOLS / OPEN TO WORK BETWEEN 3-11.45 PM GLOBAL CONTENT TEAM MANAGER: - The role of the Global Content Team Manager will be to support onboarding milestones and day-to-day management of the Global Content team, comprised of Deputy Editors, Senior Content Specialists, Content Research Specialists, Technical Proofreaders and a Traffic Manager. - Additionally, the Global Content Team Manager should participate in the mentoring of Content Specialists and Deputy Editors, as well as in content writing as appropriate. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Day-to-day management and oversight of the Global Content resources, maintains work schedules and oversight of time off requests, staffing conflicts and resourcing along with direct support of management. - Monitors and regularly assesses overall team and individual performance against goals/KPIs to assess knowledge and performance improvement opportunities, including conflict resolution, staff issues and escalating foreseeable attrition risks. - Actively participates in individual team members' performance reviews, providing feedback to management and contributes to the identification of growth and skill development opportunities to ensure constant improvement and utilization of the Global Content team. - Mentor the Content Specialists and Deputy Editors in the team to perform their responsibilities to the highest levels. - Contribute to content production through participation in writing projects as appropriate. - Coordinate with Global Content resources to ensure requests are completed accurately and in accordance with standard practices / guidelines and defined service level agreements. - Along with onshore team leads, continuous evaluation of onboarding status, training and technical skills to identify when/where additional focus or review would benefit team members. - Share feedback regularly to support management in assessment of individual skills and aptitude along with potential for career expansion. - Provide and share on a regular cadence status updates/reports with leadership. - Ensure the Global Content team, including all time zone-specific teams, are working together as a cohesive unit in support of the Department goals and values. - Maintains a current understanding of Global Content processes, workflows, SLAs and the company's brands guidelines, to ensure accurate oversight and output of deliverables. REQUIREMENTS: - Master's Degree or equivalent industry experience. - 8+ years of previous editorial team management experience, including a proven track, record of writing experience. - Professional and conversational fluency in English is a must, with excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills. - Leads with empathy and a solution-oriented mindset with strong mentorship skills. PREFERRED SKILLS: - Demonstrated project and/or resource management understanding. - Experience with/knowledge of Workfront or other project management software. - Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
