Categories to handle - Raw materials, Energy, Precious Metals and Hedging.

- Establish, analyze, and optimize the business's procurement strategy ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Vendor development & Management - Vendor Selection Criteria & Vendor Evaluations

- Managing Vendor Performance - Delivery, Cost, Quality etc.

- Collect and interpret procurement data including cost analysis reporting, benchmarking spend

- Identifying cost drivers/macro-economic factors/supply risk/price cost analysis etc.

- Perform regular reviews of established procurement processes to ensure continual improvement. Subsequently refining policies, due diligence questionnaires and RFP templates.

- Ensure Quality and Security of supplies.

- Ensure sustainability actions in procurement.

- Use of Digital tools in purchasing process.

- Applies strategies to ensure cost reduction with long term plan.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Degree, Preferably Engineering Degree from good academic institute. Post-Graduation Business Management with very Good Academic Performance will be an added advantage.

- Relevant experience of 10-12 Years in purchase function having input materials in any large manufacturing companies or consulting industry with turnover more than 500 Crores.

Mandatory:

Should be proficient in speaking Tamil.
