Team Lead-Internal Audit  - Functions in various roles on audit engagements, including leading audits, staffing audits and providing consulting or oversight functions based on the needs of the team. Conducts and documents more complex and high risk audits throughout the Corporation  - Leads audit teams in executing audit projects. Responsible for the planning, scoping, execution and communication of audit results to both Audit and Business Unit Management.  - Utilizes understanding of various business units to ensure operations, services and systems have proper controls in place (i.e., design of the control environment).   - Applies analytical skills to review information, perform assessments of the audit results and on the adequacy of controls.   - Develops a budget and/or timeframe for how the audit will be completed.   - Reviews work of all members of the engagement team ensuring that departmental standards have been met.   - Communicates with partners at all levels. Develops and presents recommendations on operations and controls for the business unit.   - Completes and compiles the summary of findings and recommendations memo prior to submission to the business unit and Audit Services Manager review process.   - Coordinates with related Audit Teams (e.g., IT and Risk Management) in different locations to ensure evaluations of related areas occur timely and cover key areas within the audit engagement.   - Provides training, coaching and auditing expertise to auditors during the audit engagement.  Knowledge/skills:  - Knowledge of audit procedures and standards usually obtained through related work experience and an appropriate degree program is required. Professional qualifications such as CA, CIA, CISA, are desirable  - Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures that relate to auditing/ accounting standards and analytical skills are necessary to prepare audits.   - Knowledge of the operations, functions, and objectives of interfacing areas is required to properly audit operations, services, systems, workflow, and operational impact on other areas.  Experience:  - Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Internal audit/Risk Management   - Experience in SOX 404/SOC 1 or risk based control testing   - Experience in Financial services industry is preferable  - Experience in IT audit / control testing is preferable  Core Competencies:  - Focused Client Relationships  - Excellence in Execution (Problem solving & Decision Making and Planning & Organising)  - Diversity, Inclusion and Respect  - Innovative Thinking  - Personal Courage  - Effective Communication (Written/Verbal Communication & Influencing)
