Team Leader/Assistant Manager - Trading/Derivatives Accounting - CA/CFA

Role Description-

- The candidate will be responsible for analysis and accounting of financial instruments and other related balance sheet positions, which includes and not limited to derivatives, NRV of stock under IFRS and application of hedge accounting rules.

Key Responsibility Area (KRA)-

- Responsible for stock reconciliations and stock valuation.

- To reconcile trade information between the various trading systems and the accounting system.

- To review trial balance and analyses / commentary of major movements related to derivatives.

- Responsible for Reclassification of derivative accounts for appropriate classification in the balance sheet.

- Responsible for Reconciliation of derivative positions with systems and ledgers.

- To perform Revenue recognition checks to ensure compliance with accounting standard.

- To perform Hedge effectiveness test on forward trades and stock hedges.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-

- Preparation & posting of various journals for month end process like prepayment, reclassifications etc.

- Preparation of disclosure schedule / audit documentation.

- To evaluate accounting of various physical and derivative positions and determine application of hedge accounting where appropriate.

Desired Skills-

- Must have 3+ years (Post Qualification) of experience in Derivative Trading Accounting.

- Must have experience in Accounting for Paper base side of commodity.

- Should have experience in reconciliation of books for trading.

- Only qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA can apply.
