Team Leader/AM - Electronic Trading - Quants

Our leading client in Mumbai is looking for Team leader and Assistant Managers in below requirements.

Designation: TL /AM

Experience: 1 - 4 yrs Relevant in Electronic Trading (Quants)

- People Management experience is must.

Other Requirements:

- Masters or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline from top tier universities

Required Skills:

Strong Quantitative skills. Knowledge of following is compulsory:

- Time series Analysis

- Probability theory

- Market Microstructure

- Trading strategies

- Development experience in KDB, R, C++ is a must

- Strong spreadsheet skills (MS-Excel)

- Comfortable working in the Linux/UNIX environment

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills

- Attention to details and accuracy a must

- Demonstrate ownership of task, responsibility of deliverables

- Willingness to learn

- Strong work ethic

- Strong Written and Oral Communication

- Team player

Desired Skills:

- Speaking / presentation skills in a professional setting

- Knowledge of databases Sybase/SQL

Job Description (Overview of Role):

The team assists in analyzing and recommending trade strategies, model refinement and generation of monthly research reports of various kinds that aid the trading desk.

Responsibilities:

Individual will perform as a contributing member in the:

- Model Building, Refinement and Validation

- Back Testing Trading Strategies

- Trade Idea generation/ Provide bespoke Client Solutions

- Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) - analyze client performance of strategies Vs benchmark performance and model prediction

- Trading Portfolio Optimization

- Report Generation - Maintain and enhance current periodic market microstructure reports, test and implement ideas to either improve or create new reports

- Analysis of trends in market turnover (volume) at primary, alternative and dark venues

- Attend to ad-hoc/bespoke quant requests from clients

- Understand business requirements and translate those into deliverables. Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify alternative solutions.

- Effectively communicate business, technical and product information at all levels role within the client and organizations.
