Sales Team Lead, B2B Business ( Renewal Energy) - IIT/IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS


Roles and Responsibilities :

- Set overall direction for B2B Sales Team with Head BD

- Jointly develop individual account plans with Key Account Managers (KAMs)

- Hold regular account reviews, analyze sales pipeline, develop strategies to address gaps v/s forecasts, direct KAMs and BDMs to qualify and prioritize opportunities

- Review initial proposals and ensure high quality solution design

- Coordinate with solution design team on new solution roadmaps, identification of high potential solutions and co-develop strategies to maximize solution penetration

- Maintain relationships with key client decision makers to pro-actively present new solutions, maximize wallet share and gather competitive intelligence

- Responsible for finalization of Sales Targets along with Head BD and ensuring the team meets the assigned targets

- Recruit, motivate and coach Sales team to achieve targets

- Study development needs and career paths of team, propose training requirements and develop succession plan

Deliverables:

- New Customer Acquisition

- Repeat Business

- Achieve assigned Sales targets

- Maintain and enhance profitability

Profile & Eligible Criteria :

- More than 12 years of experience in the energy sector; experience in facilitating power procurement for corporates is preferred

- Proven sales track record and experience as a business development manager

- Deep connects across industries and the ability to generate leads from potential consumers

- Extensive knowledge of Open Access, RPO, power exchange, ISTS, and other relevant regulations at Central and State level

- B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering and MBA from top-tier institutes

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task

- Excellent organizational skills

Main Interfaces:

- Internal Stakeholders such as Business Head, BD Head, BD Team members, etc.

- External Stakeholders such as Clients, Regulators, etc.

- Reporting Authority

- Reports to Head BD

Location - Gurugram, Haryana
