Team Lead - Global Financial Reporting with a MNC Brand

We are looking for a Team Lead - Global Financial Reporting with a MNC Brand

Location - Mumbai, Lower Parel.

Purpose of the role:

- To ensure consolidation of accounts under IFRS (1 Holding level of consolidation) for the Brand across the globe having operations in 140 countries & finalize group financial statements in Luxembourg.

- To ensure closure of Group statutory audit across regions and at Global level

- To support in the implementation of S4 Hana across the Group

- To ensure timely and accurate external stakeholder reporting

- To prepare Goodwill Impairment testing for Group

- To issue accounting guidelines as per IFRS based on the requirements.

- To ensure compliance to the third-party lender's requirements on monthly, quarterly and annually

- To review Lease accounting at Group level

- To lead, guide and facilitate group wise closing process, monitoring of general ledgers, ensuring accuracy in partnership with operational teams.

- To support the management Ad hoc reports whenever required

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of 1 Legal Consolidations at Lux level.

- Supporting MIS & Controlling Team during period-end closures by supporting month-end and lender reporting requirements.

- Group audit management & ensuring smooth closure of interim audits as well as yearly audits

- Support in closure of regional statutory audits

- Support in preparation of impairment analysis for regional entities

- Overall part of the implementation of SAP HANA implementation, support, and stabilization

- Ensuring & maintaining Internal Customer Satisfaction

- Ensures Professional development of team members. Recognizes training needs & provides necessary training to team members

- Ensures quality output & establishes new processes for improvement.

- Judicious use of natural resources

- Shall adhere to the environmental health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.

Education: Chartered Accountant

Additional Qualification: Expert IFRS Knowledge

Experience: 4-9 years of experience in Finance viz. finalization, Consolidation, and other related aspects.

Knowledge & Key skills: Well-versed with IFRS with strong knowledge of consolidation systems.
