Responsibilities:
- Lead the E-Commerce Sales team in India to consistently out-perform by acquiring high value new customers on a Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis.
- Responsibilities will entail smooth functioning, implementation of new initiatives & managing employee engagement events for Delhi office.
- Own the development, success and management of the E-Commerce sales Team.
- Develop new business opportunities with potential sales/business development/adoption and market penetration for prospecting, qualifying and recruiting SMB's on the company's platform.
- Impact market segment share by acquiring and onboarding new customers in the E-Commerce vertical.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Maintain and achieve/exceed team targets in areas of # of clients and GMV from our direct business.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for the company's services in coordination with the marketing team.
- Align and sync the sales activities with other organizational functions (product, marketing, sales etc.)
- Drive sales funnel to augment customer acquisitions and lead the sales teams in industry forums to drive awareness.
- Coach, analyze and direct team performance on building a group of high bar performers.
- Draft various business reports.
Desired Experience:
- 8-10 years of business development, sales, account management experience, especially in payments or eCommerce. Experience in working with SMB's is essential.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals
- Proven ability to manage and develop medium to large teams.
- Proficiency in the use of email, with strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
- High level of organization and focus and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to see the bigger picture.
- Flexibility to travel within the country and internationally as relevant.
