As we expand our operations, we are in search of an accomplished and visionary Team Lead in Data Analytics to lead our newly established Data Analytics Division.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Team Lead in Data Analytics. In this pivotal role, you will create and lead a team of Data Analysts, Business Analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making through data insights. Your leadership will shape the Data Analytics Division and empower it to unlock the power of data for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data engineers.

- Define team goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights related to stainless steel production, sales, quality, supply chain, or other relevant areas.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for management and stakeholders.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in all analytical work.

Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and align analytics initiatives accordingly.

- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize stainless steel production, inventory management, or other aspects of the business.

Predictive Analytics and Forecasting:

- Build predictive models to forecast demand, identify trends, and support decision-making in areas such as pricing, inventory management, and production planning.

Data Governance and Quality:

- Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and security.

- Monitor and improve data quality by implementing data cleansing and validation processes.

Technology and Tools:

- Evaluate and implement advanced analytics tools, data analytics platforms, and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.

- Build frontend Sales App UI/UX: Automate tasks for the sales team using data-driven insights enabled by cutting-edge frontend technology.

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Communicate insights and findings to various stakeholders, including senior management, and provide actionable recommendations.

- Collaborate with different departments to understand their analytical needs and address them effectively.

Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement:

- Define and track key performance metrics for the analytics team's projects and initiatives.

- Continuously assess and improve the team's processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and impact.

Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data analysis and reporting, such as data privacy and security concerns.

Compliance and Regulations:

- Ensure that all data analysis and reporting activities comply with relevant data protection and industry-specific regulations.

Budget Management:

- Manage the team's budget effectively, allocating resources as needed for projects and tools.

Training and Development:

- Develop training programs and opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in analytics and data science.

Communication:

- Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and comprehensible manner, empowering data-driven decision-making at all levels.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven leadership experience (8+ years) in data analytics, with a track record of effectively managing and developing high-performing teams.

- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.).

- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

- Deep knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.

- Familiarity with industry-specific trends and best practices in data analytics.
